KJT Two - channel gear speed sensor switch series
Application characteristics
The sensor has no contact with the gear under test, no wear and tear, and is easy to install. The output waveform is square wave with duty ratio of about 50%.
The sensor has good low-frequency and high-frequency characteristics.The low frequency can be up to 0Hz, which can be used to measure the zero speed of rotating machinery. Since the sensor can give the speed signal of two paths with a certain phase difference, it can be used to distinguish positive and negative rotation.The high frequency can be as high as 20KHz, which can meet the high speed measurement requirements of most industrial fields.

The reverse speed sensor is used to detect the rotation speed and linear speed of the wheel shaft,the speed of the measured body can also be obtained by calculation.

    (1)The measured sensor is a magnetizer with teeth or grooves.
    Suggestion: the modulus of gear is greater than or equal to 1.7, and the material is magnetic low carbon steel.
    Note: the difference between the width of non-standard teeth or slots and the flat surface will result in the change of wave-to-width ratio.
    (2)Mounting clearance: 0.5-2mm, typical value: 1.0mm

Working principle
1.Principle of speed measurement
When the rotate speed measuring gear rotates, the sensor will generate square wave signal of frequency f (Hz) = n xm /60(n is the speed and P is the number of teeth of gears) for the electronic control system of the locomotive to sample and detect the locomotive speed and diesel engine speed.
The inductor must be a magnetizer, either a notch or a raised screw or gear.
The sensor is applied to measure the speed, which involves the following parameters:
M -- the number of sensors on the rotating magnet
N -- rotate speed
F -- input signal frequency
S - the set instrument coefficient (depends on the characteristics of the rotating speed measuring instrument, part of the rotating speed measuring instrument directly sets the number of teeth, please select the instrument coefficient according to the selected rotating speed measuring instrument operating instructions)
The relationship is as follows: S=
N = s, f = 60, f/m
After determining the number of sensors in a measurement system, the instrument setting coefficient is determined, and the coefficients of each channel are determined according to the number of sensors in each channel.
For example, if the rotation speed is measured on a rotating shaft, there is a 30 tooth wheel on the shaft, which is equal to the number of tooth number of the sensor Z = 30, then the frequency output of each channel of the sensor is f = (30/60)n, and the rotation speed is n = 2f, that is, the measured frequency must be multiplied by 2 to be equal to the actual speed.Set the speed measurement instrument coefficient at 2, that is, s = 2, then the actual speed of the rotor can be displayed directly.Similarly, if two signals are produced per revolution, the coefficient s = 30 can be set, and so on.
3.Principle of positive and negative judgment measurement
The application of hall two - channel sensor can be easily used to distinguish positive and negative rotation.
According to the example applied in this instruction 4, when the rotation direction is defined as positive rotation as shown in figure 4, the output waveform is channel 1 leading channel 2 90 degrees, and the waveform is shown as follows:

When the rotation direction is opposite to that shown in figure 4, the waveform of channel 2 will lead the waveform of channel 1 to 90 degrees. The waveform diagram is as follows:

It can be seen from the above figure that the phase identification of the waveform of channel 1 and channel 2 can be conducted to identify the positive and negative rotation.
